An iPhone is a little thicker and heavier. It also has a speaker grid on the front and a built in microphone. It terms of features it has a camera and has the ability to call and text people.An iPod Touch is basically an iPhone without the phone, microphone, and camera. Theres nothing an iPod Touch can do that an iPhone can’t do.

ipod touch is slimmer and has a faster processor, the iphone has a camera and the phone. That’s it, except the iphone comes with a high monthly bill for extra 3g internet on top of the wifi!

The main difference between the two is one is a phone, the other is not. B/c of this the iPhone has internet everywhere through its 3G and EDGE connections where the iPod touch can only connect to the internet if your in a wifi spot. Also the iPod touch does not have a camera or video camera like the iPhone 3Gs has which on the iPhone you can e-mail the video if its under 40 seconds or post to youtube or mobile me (if you have a mobile me account) for as long as you want directly from the iPhone 3Gs over wifi, 3G or Edge.

Also the processors on the 3Gs and the new iPod touch 32 and 64 gb have newer processors for gaming so there a lot faster than iPhone 3g, 2g or the older iPod touch and the new 8gb touch.
