You can use a microphone connected to headphones and the camera isn’t on it because Apple was it to be as low priced as possible and not add unnecessary features. Apart from music you can go on the internet by wifi, download apps/games, watch videos, look at photos, and add contacts, notes, and calendar stuff. I bought the 8GB and it is the best thing I have ever bought. I don’t think the iPod Touch will have a camera unless they are pretty cheap.

Hi well first thing Im pretty sure iPod will not have cameras nor micros why?? Because that’s why they made the iPhone but you can buy a micro online which you will be able to use to call people thru an app called Fring and you need to look in the internet how to call for free is easy. Ok another thing is a good thing cuz you can call for free text for free play games and tons of more, but all of this is free if you jailbreak which is safe but it can make your wRranty not valid no more but I don’t think you wanna spend more money after buying your iPod touch is your choices after jailbreak there is a huge of things and features u will have and for jailbreaking your iPod if you get it just email me or something I will teach you or how to call for free but remember you need a micro which can be bought online oh one more thing before ending this if you decide to jailbreak and for some reason you wanna take your iPod to he apple store you can reset your iPod to factories settings and try to get it fix I anything happens to it during warranty time and just to let you know iPod that aren’t jailbroken get a lil boring after a while and one of the kool features that kool about having jailbroken iPod is hat you can emulators like Nes or Gameboy advance, and PS1 but again is your choices to do so I hope that I help you

no camera……the 32gb and 64 gb come with headphone with mic….but the 8gb doesnt, but get compatibility for those headphone……so u can buy those off the apple store……..there is no camera…..as steve jobs said they are promoting the ipod touch a a gaming/music device and not a camera….(wierd)…..the current 8gb(3G) and the last years 8gb(2G) is te same they only made changes to the 32 gig and 64 gig……
